hakata donut

To continue my Fukuoka trip, one night we ate a light dinner and walked around canal city and nakasu area while eating. One of our eats was a baked donut in Nakasu. Since it was freshly made, it was still hot with a slightly crispy outside. My foodie partner wanted to eat another one the next day but we never had the chance to.

Also, that night, we went to Don Quijote for the first time. I always wondered why the store was so popular but now I understand. Basic necessities from snacks, medicine, cosmetics at cheaper prices! We checked out the one in Nakasu so it was full of fellow tourists. This place is open 24 hours too so it was packed even at 9pm! Now whenever I go to Japan, I’ll probably end up stopping by 😉
